Tonight, we'll break all our holy resolutions for the New Year and continue where we left off last year: with fine intentions and a defiant ignorance of the dawn.

  Wenn die letzten Rollkoffer gen Schönefeld zurückgerollt und die Straßen mit mickrigen Weihnachtsbaumresten gepflastert sind, liegt endlich wieder ein wenig Berliner Normalität in der Luft. Wir scheißen auf die guten Vorsätze und machen damit weiter wo wir im letzten Jahr aufgehört haben: Mit feinen Feten und einer gewissen Ignoranz gegenüber dem Morgengrauen.   Drum Klub is a movement spread through drumming, dancing, laughing and electronic soundscapes, merging the crowd into a new community each month. Along with their crew, Lars Neugebauer and NU Unruh of Einsturzende Neubaten will be performing live on drum installations that the audience can have a bash on, with contemporary artists bending electronic sounds to match the uplifting din.
  
  Drum Klub creates its unique sound monthly with the aid of every single person in the room - that means, you too! Grab a drum, pick up some sticks and follow the beat to a realm of pure endorphins.

  Under this motto, Sea-Watch has been successfully sailing since 2015 and has been involved in the rescue of over 38,000 people. True to the same motto, it also took them to the skies over the Mediterranean in early 2017, where they have been coordinating rescue operations with the Moonbird, and documenting the European failures with regards to sea rescue.
  
  At the end of 2017, a friend and machinist from Sea-Watch 3 asked if we could collect money for Sea-Watch. We wanted to help so now, here we are, at the beginning of our third solo tour. Why?
  
  Because we do not accept the deadly European foreclosure and asylum policy, in which Germany is heavily involved. Because we feel committed to the act of solidarity, which is an anti-fascist stance by default, and are convinced that it works best when we talk about grievances as well as new opportunities - and pool our strengths to work together.
  We invite you to turn up from 9 p.m. onward, to find out more about solidarity initiatives like ours in your city, and to volunteers including Sea-Watch about self-empowerment. But that's not all: afterwards we combine the celebration of the beautiful life as we like it, with the financial help of others. Come one, come all!
  Assuming that there is no "police operation" this time around, it will go a little something like this...

  Information and discussion event before the MM Masked Ball

  What can we do? What should we do? When it comes to activism, it seems that many of the legal options available to the public are mere holding cells for its good intentions and morality, detaining both in a state of suspended animation until the people - or the planet - that are in crisis, cease to exist. Thus ending the debate with a default win for the perpetrators.

  In the case of the refugee crisis, the perpetrator is war. War that was begun by capitalist-imperialist interventions in the Middle East and Africa; war sustained by weapons that the "western" nations produce. The benefactors, by default, are therefore us. Which makes us the perpetrators, too... unless we intervene.

  And yet. The illegal options in activism can so easily land us in an actual holding cell, made of actual bars and concrete (at least temporarily). How to best avoid that fate, without avoiding activism altogether? Tonight we can ask the experts of border/line activism: Sea Watch.

  Wir bekommen Inputs von Marie Bröckling (netzpolitik.org), Expertin zur Polizeigesetzgebung und ihrer Anwendung und von Sophie Scheytt (Head of Advocacy von Sea Watch), zu den Versuchen der Kriminalisierung von Sea Watch Soliparties/Unterstützer*innen von Seiten der Polizei.
  
  Wir erfahren: Was dürfen Sie? Was tun Sie? Und wir diskutieren: Wie können wir damit umgehen? Sowohl in einem Clubkulturellen Kontext, aber auch darüber hinaus.

  After collecting information for more than one evening at our information and discussion event, we come to the best reason to mask yourself: the MMMasked Ball. What do you want to be? Be it. If you come with a mask, you will save money on entrance, which will pay off later - for example, at the bar!

  We have a lot to offer the eyes and the ears. We can negotiate directly with one another by stimulating all our other senses. Recommended negotiating tactics: dancing.   Nachdem wir bei unserer Info- und Diskussionsveranstaltung Gesprächsstoff für mehr als einen Abend gesammelt haben, kommen wir endlich zum angenehmsten Grund sich zu maskieren: unserem MMMaskenball. Was willst du sein? Sei es. Wer mit Maske kommt, kann schon am Eintritt massiv sparen, das zahlt sich später an der Bar aus.
  
  Sowohl fürs Auge als auch fürs Ohr, haben wir einiges zu bieten. Über die Stimulierung der anderen Sinne, können wir direkt miteinander verhandeln. Empfohlene Verhandlungstaktik: Tanzen.
